Context

During my three years with the agency Spicerack, I worked with Dyson from an apprentice to a designer, creating hundreds of HTML5 banner advertisements, animations, storyboards and website amendments.

The Problem

Dyson needed to produce multiple standardised HTML5 adverts as well as storyboards for their upcoming projects. Due to the sheer volume of work that Dyson required due to their global reach and regular product launches, Spicerack was entrusted to work alongside Dyson's design team to help complete projects.

The Solution

Our team storyboarded and animated for their upcoming international projects and helped design and update their UK/US websites. We constantly held reviews with Dyson's design team; maintaining strong communication between our design departments allowed us to streamline feedback and produce productive results under time constraints.

What I did

I worked to create HTML5 banners of varying sizes using Adobe Animate, ensuring that the animations were all consistent to the storyboards, and that animation timings remained perfect across all size variations.

What I learnt

I gained invaluable experience on working with larger clients and tackling a high volume of projects under strict time constraints. Working collaboratively with Dyson's internal design team improved my collaborative skills and further taught me the importance of communication. I became much more experienced in 2D animation and learnt to seamlessly navigate Adobe Animate.
